Project: Construction of Masjid Saad Bin Abi Waqas, plot area is 2890 sq. yd, located at DHA, Phase-IV, Karachi.Responsibilities:To manage, monitor, inspect and maintain the quality and execution of work as per drawings/specifications aligning with the planned schedule. Inspection of all construction activities, managing resources, checking and vetting of IPCs, coordination with structural, architectural, electrical and plumbing consultants. Coordination with Consultant and Vendors for installation of air-conditioning system/ HVAC and insulations. Coordination with authorities for approvals (such as DHA). Procurement, Inspection and technical assistance of finishing items such as Heavy Book Match Wall Marbles, Floor Marbles for Prayer Hall, Façade Jali (its drawing/material selection, i.e., R&D covering Aesthetics/ Durability/ Feasibility and Installation), and Wooden Doors and Windows (Mahogany Sepali Wood, their carpentry and polish work inspection/supervision). Cost Analysis and Budgeting of resources to be consumed, i.e., Material, Manpower and Contractors/ Sub-contractors. Preparation/ Issuance of bidding documents (for sub-contractors, BOQs) and work orders Construction of electrical room, purchasing LT Panel, PFI, Phase Sequencers and their installation as per drawing along inspection of electrical works to be executed as per drawing. Maintenance of handed-over part of the project.

➢ Submitting RFI (Request for Information) for missing info related to project.➢ Inspect and verify quality of materials as per specifications and standards.➢ Keeping the record of all reports, tests results and documents related to QA/QC and construction work.➢ Preparing daily, weekly and monthly work & equipment progress reports.➢ Raise the initial snags and follow-up with Engineer’s and Authority to close and rectify.➢ Conduct follow-up meetings with client and contractors for the Assurance of quality.➢ Conducting the weekly surveillance for different structural elements and finishing works.➢ Review and modify the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) as per Project requirements and QA/QC procedure.➢ Submitting pre qualifications and MAR (Materials Approval Request) to consultant.➢ Submitting WIR (Work Inspection Request) and MIR (Material Inspection Request).➢ Witnessing concrete pouring and its relative tests.➢ Preparing closeout reports for NCR (Non-Conformance Report).➢ Issuing of internal NCR for non-conformance to project specification or drawings.
