Responsible for managing the development of enhancements to the Roster and Pairings Optimiser Systems. Delivery of six development releases over two years. Improved the development processes and release schedules from the third party supplier.Crew Standby project - aimed at providing detailed data on standby usage so that business inefficiencies can be identified and efficiencies implemented. CSC MI project - aimed at providing detailed crew deployment data so that business can introduce efficiencies in better deployment of crew. Roster Stability project - transparency to Crew and Operational Control Centre Management with regards to the percentage stability of the roster for each crew member. Reports produced via the easyJet BI System. Management of in-house and offshore bespoke development and delivery into production. Management of 25 onshore and offshore 3rd party supplier resources.Implemented improvements to the management of SDLC processes and the associated documentation deliverables. Delivery of requirements, from Enterprise Architect and Solutions Architect HLD, detailed design, logical and physical data models, ETL packages, Cubes, dashboards via Performance Point and detailed reports. Hardware enhancements to the system test and production environments. Responsible for building and delivering a cross project Job scheduling environment. Management of offshore 3rd party supplier for development and system testing and onshore supplier for performance testing.

Managing the development of enhancements to the Retek Management System (RMS) and the new development of Enterprise Services BUS so that Product, Price and Promotions data could be communicated real time via the Web Services integration layer to the new stores Retail Enterprise Suite (RES, Shelf Edge Label and Promotions advertising system) developed by Episys. Business objective to replace the exiting Shelf Edge Label system and the Promotions Advertising system in stores by the centrally hosted RES to significantly reduce existing labour intensive processes. Delivery of enhancements to Retek Management System, new Web Methods Web Services (Enterprise Services BUS) integration layer to enable real time data transfer to RES and ten other legacy systems.Engaged seven third party suppliers (major participants being InfoSys, TCS, Cognizant and Episys) to define Work Packages for enhancements to RMS and new build of the Enterprise Services BUS based on Service Oriented Architecture. Negotiate Work Order costs, standards for development and testing, templates to be used for deliverables and deliverable time scales.Co-ordination and management of four third party suppliers, application support teams, in-house Development Environment and System Test Environment build teams, DBA, infrastructure teams (Server Build, Network, Security, Firewalls, Operating systems, Application Platform and Off-Shore Connectivity teams). Established strong collaborative working relationship with On-shore and Off-shore teams.

Delivery of functional enhancements to the KPMG Global Client Engagement Management System (GEM) and interface to the Sentinel System in USA. The GEM system serves KPMG partnerships in 54 countries, it is hosted in Amsterdam and Singapore, supported by IBM in Bangalore, Network management by HP India. Hardware and Operating Systems managed by HP Global, Database management by KPMG Europe. Business objective to eliminate the labour intensive processes of entering client engagement data in GEM and Sentinel.Delivery of the enhanced GEM System with Sentinel interface to 3,000 Transaction Services business users in 54 countries. Introduced improvements to ways of working with 3rd Party Suppliers, negotiate favourable commercials for KPMG with IBM for this project and future projects.Stakeholder management of KPMG Senior Partner, Business Manager, IT Programme Director, IBM Account Manager and KPMG Operations Manager by holding fortnightly progress updates.Management of off-shore third party supplier development teams based in Bangalore, KPMG IT Global team in USA, Sentinel application global team in Canada, HP global team in Bangalore, GEM application support team in India, HP Network support team in UK and KPMG Europe Infrastructure team. Established strong collaborative working relationships with all on-shore and off-shore teams.

The Enterprise Distribution Technology Programme was to enable Canada Life Europe to increase sales of its products and implement efficiency in the operational dealings with Independent Financial Advisers (IFA) via an eBusiness Broker Portal.Successful delivery of the Canada Life UK and Canada Life International Broker Portal for use by 30,000 IFAs based in UK and Isle of Man. Protect Canada Life’s current business volumes and enhancing it’s platform for growth. Enable the business to host Distribution Sales Tools technology services and solutions including Valuations, Quotations, Submissions and Tracking. Successfully dealt with challenges posed by onshore based processes, architecture solutions and differing time zones.

The New Buying System (NBS) Programme consisted of eleven projects and had a total budget of £75M. The programme aim was to replace some sixty legacy systems with the Retek RMS package. Responsible for the delivery of the integration layer between the Retek RPM system and the Operational Data Store, specifically focusing on the Promotions functionality.

Test Manager - Responsible for managing and delivering a bespoke, fully tested back office Smart Vouchers system that was part of the Tesco Marketing Programme. The project had a total budget of £2.2M. SDLC Architect - The objective was to define and establish a standard software development framework across seventeen countries for two thousand IT personnel. I joined a team of two architects in the Group Technology & Architecture Department to help develop a Tesco specific Software Development Lifecycle (Tesco IT Way).Test Manager - Work with the existing teams on the Accuracy Programme, consisting of five projects, to improve the software development processes such that the quality of the end product is improved.
