NAFDAC Nigeria in Collaboration with NPHCDA (National Primary Healthcare Development Agency) & COVAXScope of work includes but not limited to Monitoring and Evaluation of WHO strategy to Achieve Global Covid-19 Vaccination by mid 2022. Also the examination of the vaccines (Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Johnson&Johnson) entering into the country in collaboration with NPHCDA. Sampling of the vaccines for laboratory analysis and also Serialization/Traceability of the vaccines.

Pharmacovigilance & Post-Marketing Surveillance Directorate; Advocacy & Public Health Collaboration Unit* Records and analysis of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) using the agency Pharmacovigilance platform (Vigiflow)* Identification, reporting and surveying the sales of falsified, expired and unauthorized drugs and medical products* Quality Management System (QMS) of selected medical products (anti malarials, misoprostol, oxytocin etc)Port Inspection Directorate* Port inspection of drugs, chemicals, medical products entering into the country at the FAAN Cargo Terminal.* Sampling of drugs, chemicals, medical products for laboratory analysis* Issuance of clearance to drugs and medical products that has undergone satisfactory laboratory analysis.

• Extensive research on digital health, telehealth, telemedicine and digital health equity in Nigeria & West Africa• Field Survey on the impact of Remote patient Monitoring devices in Nigeria & West Africa• Peer review of telehealth journals and abstracts• Publication of different articles, blog posts and journals on telehealth, telemedicine and remote patient monitoring in Nigeria & West Africa.
