Job Purpose:1. To assist Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer in a project (New model, Facelift, Plant Improvement & Special activity) in overall quality build-up activity.2. To assist Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer in preparing and confirmation of equipment specifications, procurement & documentation.3. Sub-Leader/Member of a project within a section in project requirements and technical engineering aspects.Key Accountabilities:1. Preparation and execution of Perodua's project related to new model development.(Planning Stage, Feasibility Study, Budget Preparation, Specification Preparation, Installation, Trial & Commissioning).2. Preparation and execution of Perodua's project related to the Production preparation stage and Mass Production stage. (W-try, WTAK, Pre-PP, PP, Hinkaku and SVP).3. Preparation and execution of Perodua's project related to plant improvement (workability, safety & functional improvement).4. Documentation preparation and updating(ISO and SHE related documentation).5. Support Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer on items as mentioned above, providing document preparation of progress, analysis, and data establishment for report/presentation materials.6. Involve in troubleshooting activities for production problems that require engineering solutions under his/her project.7. Lead/Support manpower in coaching, mentoring activity (skill-up activity), and Hitozukuri (Developing people's skills).8. Effectively communicate with related parties to smoothen project progress.9. • Prepare and review all manufacturing documents before release to production. (Develop bill of materials (BOM), PFMEA’s, SOP, work instruction and specification for new product).• Coordinating with other Engineers and crew members to ensure quality products, material, process, and project improvements are completed on schedule.• Performing quality control on all projects, writing reports, and making recommendations for improvement.• Worked to ensure successful project execution according to established objectives, timelines, and costs.• Drive for materials standardization, cost competitiveness and quality in operation’s needs.• Provided customers with relevant information and suggestions.• Supporting the Engineering team during planning, design, development, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.• Analyzing existing systems and operations and developing preventative maintenance strategies.• Monitoring processes, workers, and methods and developing plans for increased efficiency.• Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.• Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.• Reported any machine malfunctions or safety issues to supervisor.• Created analysis and performance reports (eg: trial report, tool maintenance failure report, tooling life report, new product development report) for management teams to review.• Conducting injection and assembly trials for new product development.• Handled daily and monthly engineering report for documentations.
