The web application I have been developing there, was integrated with corporative portal through single sign-on process, also it was communicating with Oracle database and SAP. I was working there as a lead developer and consultant. I've designed and created new framework that dramatically improved code quality, application reliability and scalability. Also I was mentoring other J2EE developers as well as developing 3 big modules that became significant part of the system. As result of my efforts project that had been in development stage for almost 2 years without much hope to meet all requirements was completed in 3 months.

I was responsible for creation and deployment a Web portal for immigration lawyer firm to automate process of filling frequently changing PDF forms. Development cycle included: definition of clients needs, creation of UML schema, writing Java Beans, struts-actions, HTML and JSP files, database mapping and configuration files, content internationalization into two languages: English and Russian. Ilya was closely with the client on creating specs for the project.Portal allows clients to upload/download documents to/from server, storing them in database, fill in forms, convert PDF to html forms and automatically fill in PDF forms using information stored in database. It helps to save a lot of time for clients and stuff allowing them not to fill in information, already existing in database and fill in changed forms with data from old ones.

Built Swing application 'Electronic Funds Transfers' according to existing payment protocol. It generates files for bank application.Designed, wrote server side Java code, Java scripts, draw pictures, flash movies and HTML layouts for the web site.Modified management system for multi-database distributed Internet desktop 'Transposer'. Re-designed database for multi language support. Fixed and partly rewrote stale and broken server side Java code, Database Access Layer and JSP front end that has been modified by designer without programmer support during several months. Removed browser dependent functionality. Wrote SOAP services for distributed database management system. Implemented lookup for accessible database management services in UDDI registry.Re-designed database of existing e-commerce web system for barter e-commerce needs. Wrote server side Java code, Database Access Layer and management subsystem for Canadian Barter System web site.

Off shore work for an American mobile phone corporation.
