🎓 I have recently graduated from studying a BA Hons in Religious Studies and Sociology at Lancaster University. I'm interested towards the study of contemporary society and have gained a deeper understanding of society and its issues. I have also strengthened my ability to pair this knowledge with primary research and data analysis. 👨‍🎓 Currently, I am studying a Masters in Computer Science and Cyber Security at York University, which is a topic I'm incredibly passionate about too. I have a keen interest in networks, having focused on the TCP/IP stack, architecture, and protocols, as well as other technical areas. I'm looking forward to furthering my knowledge in these fields and expanding beyond my current understandings.🖥 In addition to this, I am confident in utilising Microsoft Excel to store and present data, and am able to take advantage of many of its features such as macros, conditional formatting, data validation and functions. These all aid me in being more efficient when working against a strict deadline and have proven to be incredibly useful when handling data. This was especially helpful when completing parts of my degree, as I was managing and presenting data.Moreover, I am also able to utilise Microsoft Access to create and manage databases. For instance, I am able to seamlessly import and export datasets between Access and Excel. Additionally, I am then able to create queries and filter relevant data in order to produce reports and invoices for instance.I have also undertaken further courses, through the Open University and other mediums, in order to hone my digital skills and obtain certifications that will be vital in a professional career. In addition to this, I aim to undertake further certifications and courses such as:📜 Security+📜 Network+📜 A+📜 CCST📜 CISSP (in the future!)And learn more about:📝 Terraform📝 SQL📝 Microsoft Azure/AWS📝 Python📝 Microsoft Power BI📝 Helpdesk📝 DockerI hope to keep improving on these skills and learn to utilise more advanced techniques and applications in the future.
