In my role at a subsidiary of New Waves Media, my responsibility was to bring card and board games to life, from the earliest stages of concept development to the final stages of branding and production. My work began with the creation of innovative game concepts, pitching new ideas, and mapping out the gameplay mechanics. Once a concept was approved, I led the design of all game elements, which included not only the creation of the cards and game pieces but also the design of the game board itself.My role extended beyond the tangible elements of the game. I was deeply involved in the establishment of each game's identity. This included the creation of distinctive logos and the development of a compelling brand narrative to appeal to our target audience.Moreover, I oversaw the production of the game's packaging. This aspect of the role required a careful consideration of user experience, ensuring that the unboxing process was just as engaging as the game itself. This also involved the design of the delivery package, ensuring that the product reached the customer's hands as intended, safe and intact.This position required me to utilize a broad range of skills, from creativity and artistic design to strategic thinking and project management. It was an immersive experience that allowed me to truly understand and manage the process of game development from concept to customer.
