As a Project Engineer with extensive experience in the nuclear energy, hydro energy, and nuclear decommissioning industries, I am passionate about delivering complex, high-stakes projects that require both technical expertise and effective leadership. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working on numerous projects across key nuclear and hydro sites, tackling unique challenges and delivering results that make a difference.My career journey began on the shop floor, which I see as a key strength in my approach to project management. This hands-on experience, combined with my progression to senior roles through hard work and continual learning, enables me to effectively plan, execute, and communicate at all levels within the team. Whether it’s briefing the team on the scope of work or mentoring junior members, I aim to ensure that everyone feels supported and empowered to contribute to the project’s success.I'm driven by the belief that great teams deliver great results. I prioritise building strong relationships and fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment where all team members feel valued and motivated. Mentoring others and providing opportunities for growth is central to my leadership approach, and I’m always eager to learn from those around me.Looking ahead, I am excited to take on larger, more challenging, and high-profile projects that push boundaries and offer new opportunities for growth.Outside of work, I’m an avid motorcyclist, with a particular love for off-road and circuit riding.
