Growing up I excelled at two things art and math. It was one of my first jobs as a graphic artist typesetter that introduced me to the world of computers leading to my love of the information technology field and a new career. For me it was the perfect combination of math, logic, creative design, and problem solving. It is a field that has fed my curiosity and desire to learn and honed my ability to break down and understand components and build whatever I need. In fact, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to do just that while working with many talented people in:• Implementing a variety of technology solutions comprised of automation, expert, and estimating software systems. Each project involved acquiring and applying a new technology skill set. (Skills: C, J2EE, Weblogic, Websphere, Korn Shell). • Building enterprise business intelligence solutions in the form of predictive analysis, KPIs, dashboards, reports, or other forms of visualization. (Skills: XLMiner, Tableau, Crystal Reports XI Server & Infoview)• Employing practical application of a variety of SQL database systems. This includes experience with data analysis, data integration, database modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and query optimization. (Skills: Erwin, Toad, Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server)• Providing system documentation, user training, and customer support. (Skills: technical writing, communication, persuasion, patience)I love to Eco-travel, and visit historical sites, and museums. I have fulfilled this enthusiasm in Colorado, Texas, Florida, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. I am also interested in outdoor activities such as hiking and have tried skydiving and snorkeling off the Florida coast. I have been out of the workforce for several years and am now ready to resume my career.
