I lead the operations for Shelf Life where I started as an early employee working on implementing impactful business process improvements focused on building the operations from the ground up. Shelf Life was launched in 2017 by Field and provides inventory management, credit, and financing services to healthcare providers; developed and offers a SaaS product called Field Supply which is provided to Governments and private sector providers including pharmacies and hospitals for their reporting, ordering, and inventory management; and is also directly involved in the health supply chain by shipping essential medicines to these providers through planning, pool procurement, logistics, and fulfillment. I plan and execute complex & and high-impact projects that power these services for growth and scale by building efficient systems; cost minimization; driving performance management and continuous improvement; powering business intelligence; and effective stakeholder management. In leading the operations team, I nurture a culture of innovation, collaboration, and open communication, influencing and motivating, aligning strategy, goal setting, and creating effective work plans to achieve targets. I also collaborate with the development team to oversee the product roadmap and prioritize features for enhancement based on client needs, market research, and business objectives. I was part of a small team responsible for driving the organization’s expansion into Africa, scaling the operations from one city to over 18 cities, setting up teams, processes, tools, and operations in these markets, reaching over 4,000 healthcare providers, revenue expansion by 63x and training and overseeing a team of over 14 operators and 200 fulfillment partners. I also supported the expansion of the medicines offering list from 5 SKUs to 3,000+ SKUs, resulting in a 90% target activation rate, enhancing access to essential medications.As a transformation architect, I also managed the digitization and transition, of the service’s data management tool to an internal SaaS tool, Field Supply, recognized as one of the top 7 LMIS solutions by The Global Fund and GAVI.
