As an expert in trauma recovery, I work with healthcare, legal, and safety professionals to manage secondary trauma in the workplace. I have a particular interest in working with African American women leaders in high stress roles. I host biweekly live-streams [Wednesdays at 3pm EST on IG and Fridays at 12pm on Facebook - @AHealingParadigm] focused on mental health by exploring the ways that Western psychology, indigenous/alternative healing, culture and spirituality intersect in the lives of African Americans. PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTI conduct Independent Medical Examinations (IME's) of Veterans, workers, and others needing a psychological evaluation. My emphasis is on Veteran's, healthcare, public safety, attorneys, and other individuals in high stress roles. I specialize in answering questions regarding the impact of a diagnosis on one's capability of working, level of disability, functional impairments, and overall impact after an injury. My work includes providing second opinions, nexus letters, and FFD (Fitness-for-duty) exams. My clients are individuals, insurance carriers, employers, governmental agencies, and 3rd party payers. In other words, I work on all sides of the issue and can provide a balanced and objective perspective regarding the questions that need to be answered. My evaluations are generally conducted online via a secure telehealth platform. I am licensed to work with clients in the following states: Georgia, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.
