Breakthrough in successfully synthesizing MoS2 via chemical vapor deposition instead of traditional scotch tape technique. MoS2 is a highly suggested compound used to synthesize nanoscale transistor. The research was done in a group of one high school student, one undergraduate student, one graduate student and a professor. Also co-authored an applied physics paper for the research asides from presenting in Nanoday 16 and VUSE 2015.
