The roles of the project officer are to oversight of project implementation, technical backstopping, coordination with partners, generate periodic quality reports, monitoring of infrastructure projects. Supporting partners to develop baseline and end-line survey tools including questionnaires for FGDs and KIIs, as well as developing TORs for various assignments and partnership agreements. Besides this, I am responsible to coordinate with the partner organization, representing WHH at different forums of INGOs and government line departments.

The roles performed being a liaison officer was to extend coordination and communication with the concerned line department and partners to develop a smooth relationship among all stakeholders. Organized media talks on project briefing, supporting for documentaries development. Besides, also to develop quality reports, intact correspondence with partners communication guidelines.

Mainly performed roles were to successfully implement the water governance project with the aim to advocate and strengthen the role of women in the participatory decision making. The research work was carried out through third-party consultants for developing training manuals for different tiers from water users to civil society and water managers. Besides the role of youth man and women enhanced for income generation activities through assisting technical support for using technology in agriculture to earn better income. Also supported for value addition and linkages with potential markets for vertical farming growers. Developing high quality reports for donors, developing advocacy campaigns strategy applying different means, and writing articles in media outlets. Devised stakeholder engagement strategy and plans to maximize the engagement and ownership for effective influencing.

Closely worked with Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority SIDA for various activities to strengthen the role of women and small farmers in participator irrigation management. Organized surveys as the baseline, midline, and end-line developed TORs, partnership agreements, and tools for FGDs and KIIs. Presented a research paper at an international conference in Lahore on water management in Sindh with a focus on drinking water for tail-enders and wrote articles in newspapers. Arranged TV Talk Shows, for advocacy and influencing campaigning. The stakeholder’s engagement strategy and action plans are devised to take on board all stakeholders. Modernize agriculture by the high efficient irrigation system and vertical farming practices.

The roles performed for climate change and adaptability was building the capacity of communities and government line departments and building linkages for resilience. Developed quality IEC Material, TORs, Training manuals, organized trainings for government officials. Besides, establishes emergency response teams.

Being a Project Manager for food Security and livelihoods I performed my roles for successful project implementation by focusing technical training for identified beneficiaries, ensure income generation cash grants, baseline and midline surveys, capacity building training for staff in all districts. Extended Coordination and communication with government line departments. Developed high quality reports quarterly, bi-annual, and annual. Besides, developed DIP detailed implementation plans and procurement plans.

The responsibilities were to implement projects in field, ensure compliance and quality and safety during work, prepare completion reports, resource mobilization monitoring and follow-ups.

As a deputy director, I performed my roles to supervise the ongoing projects implementation, coordination, and communication with concerned line departments, attend meeting with governments, actions related to conflict resolutions. Ensure Distribution of inputs to the right beneficiaries, administered cycle projects.
