Some of the key accomplishments:Successfully launched the hybrid power systems ( SkyBox) to meet the need of the solar / storage market.Enhanced and re-aligned the core development team to meet growth needs of the business.Provided control and resolution in multiple quality related needs in the hardware and firmware areas.Finalized the successful integration of offshore engineering team to provide test and sustaining engineering support. Removed "tribal knowledge" dependencies from the legacy product line sustaining needs.Introduced fast track NPI process to replace legacy product line of OutBack Power with next generation platform of grid interactive storage / solar product lines. In sourced the key product development from the contract design houses to solidify IP / know how retention. Initiated and completed the next generation Radian platform for the OEM customer. This open frame design is the engine for OutBack's Mojave series of products.Actively participated in integration with Enersys Inc ( acquired OutBack's parent company Alpha in December, 2018) and formation of new business unit under Enersys ESA - Industrial, Renewable, and Data Center ESS.Continued with the larger commercial division of Enersys ( Energy Systems Americas) responsible for industrial , renewable, and data center business to rapidly introduce innovative products and systems to our customers. As a founding member, I have conceptualized and implemented the Energy Management System for light commercial buildings from inception to complete lines of products. Built the hardware design, firmware development, mechanical and cloud software development team in organic and stepped approach. Added data analytics and reporting backbone with data growth. Selected the technology platform, engineering tools and resources for fastest delivery and highest quality product to the market. Mentored and trained engineers with high focus on technology risk mitigation and product success. Worked closely with organizations like OpenADR, Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and worked with utility companies in California, Texas, and Michigan. EnTouch 360 – Light Commercial Energy Management Systems (EMS)Product platform is designed to serve energy management needs for midsize commercial facilities (retail, restaurant, healthcare). The platform offering includes HVAC thermostat, lighting controls, metering device for electricity- gas- water usage, equipment state and movement tracking. Purpose built wireless network (modified Zigbee stack) connects the distributed system and provided data layer service in the cloud. The gateway is Open ADR certified Virtual End Network (VEN) and part of multiple demand response programs (stand alone and in partnership with EnerNOC). Lithium Ion Battery Management System ( One of the many design services projects we did during boot strapping phase of EnTouch )Provided consulting service to implement and deploy large Li-ion battery packs for hybrid passenger bus. My team worked with the OEM to deliver this product to a leading automotive company in PR China.

We were able to achieve three strong breakthrough to distinguish our product from the existing market offering - the highest energy density power systems for data com application, highest energy efficiency (~98%) AC /DC power conversion modules, and highly flexible and intelligent central control system for distributed DC power plant. Worked with the traditional VRLA batteries to advance the management systems and introduced emerging Lithium based technology for backup power. Served in multiple power committee for major telecom service providers.2007 – 2008: Vice President, Engineering – Moved to lead the overall engineering organization. Verticals of engineering team included power electronics, embedded controls and systems, thermal and mechanical, and design qualification team2003-2007: Director of Controls Systems – Took additional responsibilities to manage the team responsible for distributed controls and centralized access systems hardware and software development.2001 – 2003: Director of Systems Engineering and Qualification– Managed system architecture design (software and hardware integration) and qualification team. Part of this team was also responsible for regulatory compliance- safety agency (UL/CSA/VDE), and other mandatory (FCC, NEBS, CE) approvals.

Acquired by Emerson / VertivDesigned and qualified high capacity telecommunication power plants for central office applications.Worked with the global engineering organization to develop 10 KA DC power plants. Responsibilities included hardware and software integration for the power converters and controls, mechanical design including power cabinet and high power distribution system design incorporation.

Developed the early generation sensor less vector drive for AC induction motors using DSP and IGBT modules. Worked on 200-300 HP DC motor drive deployed in the industrial elevator systems.
