Since the dispatching system was new, I developed best practices for inputting the reservation data from patrollers on the water, customers at the window, and phone calls.I also organized approximately 5,135 files comprising 7 years of mooring contracts and supporting documentation in order to allow for more efficient assignments and easier access to customer information.My main focus at this job was streamlining and digitizing processes such as issuing of statements and re-issuing and re-assigning mooring contracts. By taking these two processes digital, I saved my department around $2500 a year and modernized our service for the customers' benefit.

I used differing curricula based on class or individual goals, which allowed me to flexibly and creatively meet the students' needs.

As a member of a team publishing an NGA Intelligence Report I populated a geospatial database and researched a wide variety of topics using open source, imagery intelligence, and signals intelligence to provide a background and answer questions for analysts, contributing my own analysis from this research whenever possible. For another project, I created a map graphic and accompanying time-related chart to display activity patterns at different locations.I organized a site visit and informational brief by three ISI supervisors, and participated in and publicized events for the NGA-wide Spanish roundtable. I also organized bringing pertinent events to ADF-SW from other NGA sites via video teleconference.

I edited and added to a course book on radar, SIGINT, and communications theory, and attended small seminars on the same topics at least once a week.

Student workers aided library patrons with research tools and library or research questions. In addition to these tasks, I opened the library and supervised up to 5 other students on Sundays. In my final year, I developed a more efficient and regularly distributed task management system that had the support of my supervisors.

I made carbon fiber electrodes and prepared solutions and gels for research in vesicle fusion and general function.
