I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow and PhD Candidate at Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu (FSJD), where I am part of the Confocal Microscopy and Cellular Imaging Unit. Affiliated with Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), I specialize in extracting quantitative disease biomarkers from super-resolution images of fibroblasts and muscle tissues. My research focuses on developing machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms to aid in the diagnosis of rare diseases such as muscular dystrophies, neurogenetic disorders, and blood diseases.
