Prior to recruitment, Ignatius co-founded (successfully exited) a Juice Cleanse startup to inspire healthy living while working as an investment banker. Before that, he was a professional soldier in the Singapore Navy working in the intelligence services. In his younger days, Ignatius was a National Swimmer and national record holder specializing in the 50 Freestyle. Ignatius received a swimming scholarship from Purdue University where he competed among the best swimmers in the world. He completed double degrees at Purdue University in Economics and Business Management and his Master in Finance at Singapore Management University.In his spare time, Ignatius is heavily involved with swim coaching budding triathletes looking to compete in the Olympic and Ironman competition.
