About Ignacio Arcos Béjar

Good day everybody,My name is Ignacio. I am a Mexican living between Mexico, USA and Germany since 08/2003. My currents cities are Cuautitlán Izcalli as well as Acapulco (Mexico), Grapevine (Texas) and Leipzig (Germany) and I am always looking for new challenges for international commitments and assignments in Germany, Mexico and all around the world in different fields. My original background is as Communications and Electronics Engineer. This degree I granted on 2001 at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in Mexico City. I also have a Master of Sciences degree in Communications and Media Engineering granted on July 2006 at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg, Baden-Württenberg, Germany.My work experience in Mexico were mainly in the field of Telecommunications, RF, Instrumentation, and Control Engineering. Then I got a letter of acceptance from the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg in year 2003 (Hochschule Offenburg) for the Master programme above mentioned. In Germany I worked mainly as a Technical Support Engineer in the Biomedical Engineering (Sirona Dental Systems, Cardinal Health, Carl Zeiss Meditec, Siemens, and Alcon-Wavelight) and IT (IBM) fields. Due to my language skills I was able to advice customers worldwide in six different languages: Spanish, English, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Additionally I have to mentioned that I had the opportunity to present my Master thesis work in USA (University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas and the Linda Hall Library in Kansas City, Missouri).I also attended a Seminar related to Business Administration during 5 months (2012) in the University Friedrich-Maximilian Erlangen-Nürnberg located in Nuremberg, Germany. I was eligible for a part-time Executive MBA at the Hult International Business School in London, UK.I am also working as a freelance technical translator and until October 2024 as a language interpreter as well as tourist guide in the city of Leipzig, Saxony, GermanyI was the Marketing Manager of Salón México, which was a project designed for the diffusion of the Mexican culture in the federal state of Saxony, based in Leipzig. I was responsible for the public relations as well as the promotion of our activities through the social media in at least four different languages (ES, EN & DE) and also the customer acquisition belongs to my tasks. I offer also online language courses mainly in Spanish and German, but also in English, French, Italian and Portuguese.Current project in the field of AI as a freelance English-German translator at SkillUp Online India
