My main responsibilities are the definition of the innovation and digital transformation strategies of Acciona Construccion, in addition to carrying out these plans with a team made up of more than 80 professionals, with more than 80 active projects in materials, infrastructure, underground construction, railways, bridge, maritime works, roads, energy efficiency, decarbonization technologies and BIM. highlight the creation of a specific offshore wind group for the development of fixed and floating foundations for offshore wind power. We are currently developing a GBS fixed foundation and two floating solutions, a semi-submersible typology and another tension leg platform, all solutions are based on concreteTo define, together with business units, strategy innovation plan, the multiannual technical objectives, research lines and budget, and supervision of achievement.Also to explore and identify business opportunities and market niches for the exploitation of the results of the technological developments, and definition of new research projects, together with the business units of the company, including the financial project valuation.Networking actions with partners, clients and stake holders, and in coordination with the business unit: establishment of contact with their innovation and Digital transformation departments, presentation of the innovation capability of the company as a differential factor with respect to our competitors.On the other hand, I am responsible for defining the digital policies in the company to achieve digital changes in the way the teams work.

To manage a team of 160 researchers divided into 5 research areas, with more than 80 active projects in materials, infrastructure, underground construction, railways, offshore structure, maritime works, roads, energy efficiency and BIM. To define, together with business units, strategy innovation plan, the multiannual technical objectives, research lines and budget, and supervision of achievement. To coordinate the preparation of research proposals to secure subsidies for research and innovation activities, contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the division.To explore and identify business opportunities and market niches for the exploitation of the results of the technological developments, and definition of new research projects, together with the business units of the company, including the financial project valuation.Cooperation with other units in the company in the preparation and submission of international tenders.Networking actions with partners and clients of interest for the company, and in coordination with the business unit: establishment of contact with their innovation departments, presentation of the innovation capability of the company as a differential factor with respect to our competitors. To manage R&D department of MOSTOSTAL Warszawa, Acciona Mexico, Acciona Chile, Acciona Canada.

To manage a team of 150 researchers divided into 13 research groups in different fields (concrete, tunnels, pavements, railways, TICs, Energy Efficiency buildings, maritime works, composite materials, Biotechnology).Networking actions with partners and clients of interest for the company.To manage R&D department of five business lines of ACCIONA: Acciona Infraestructuras, MOSTOSTAL Warszawa, Acciona Inmobiliaria (Real State), Acciona Trasmediterránea (Ship Company) , Acciona Servicios Urbanos (Urban Service). To coordinate the preparation of research proposals to secure subsidies for research and innovation activities, contributing to the achievement of the objectives of the division.

Project coordinator and participant in several R&D projects co-funded by the European Commission in areas such as industrialization of construction processes, composites materials in construction or environmental technologies. The project coordination included the participation from the proposal development and submission to the project completion. Typical project size ranges from 5 to 10 million euros in budget and 10 to 20 partners from different countries.
