● Establish a hardware design environment on a small startup without previous knowledge on the matter. Responsible for designing a custom made board around the FRDM-K64F containing the Iridium modem, GPS module, power supplies (3v, 5v and 28v), local networking and laser rangefinder circuit and audio amp.- Second and third generation handset Iridium Satellite radio based on a Freescale MK64F microcontroller and Iridium 95223 modem, li-ion battery management and gauge, Bluetooth LE enabled (TI CC2650), power supplies (3v, 5v and 28v), local networking circuit and audio amp. Responsible for the 6-layers custom made design featuring a bus architecture that enables expansion modules without requiring a full system redesign.
