Assisted in organizing and executing various events, including industry nights, spotlight events, social events, and AusIMM courses and conferences, to foster connections between students and industry leaders. Through my role I am helping my peers to connect with industrial leaders.

I was a Junior Project Manager for manufacturing processes for staircases, balustrades, handrails, and custom metal framing. Daily tasks included project estimation, concept and detailed design, performance monitoring, and reporting. The team and I proactively addressed technical inquiries from stakeholders, ensuring prompt and effective solutions. As part of my role I collaborated closely with fabrication and site teams to ensure the successful execution of projects. During my time at Weldingmen I upskilled in CAD tools such as Inventor and AutoCAD. Frequently traveled to project sites and suppliers to support project needs.

I participated in the University of New South Wales Sunswift VIP Challenge, a student-led electric vehicle racing team. The team is presently focused on developing Sunswift 8. One of our recent accomplishments involved successfully operating Sunswift 7 over long distances using 5G technology, a project carried out in collaboration with Optus.

I contributed to the port debottlenecking project (PDP2). The project scope is to help the client increase Port Headland’s exporting capacity. I did the calculations of conveyor belts. Recommending the required modification to existing conveyor where necessary for the increased capacity. The material properties, motor capacity, reducer ratio, brakes, backstop, belt width, idler spacing, idler bearing series and pullout forces were some of the many things taken into consideration in the early stages of SPS.
