Rivkin Securities is an Australian company that specialise in general investment advice. I was initially hired as a Product & UX Manager, and my main goal was to initiate the company's digital transformation by:• Developing new 100% digital solutions both for internal use and for end-customers• Redefining the marketing strategy and optimizing the communication channels• Recovering ownership of Rivkin’s digital assets from several 3rd parties (servers, hostings, databases, domains)• Restructuring company’s digital infrastructure, migrating solutions into less and cost-effective providers• Building an IT inhouse team integrated by developers and UX designers• Training existing internal resources to bring up a Marketing team, focused on optimising such as SEO, SEM, email marketing automations, re-targeting, mobile channels (SMS/Messenger/Whatsapp), and more// Main Achievements• Since a big part of the digital transformation was done before Covid19 outbreak, we were able to overcome the challenges that sudden remote work meant on many areas: Customer Service, Sales & Management• Built a specialized in house IT team, which allowed to eliminate 3rd parties dependencies and therefore optimize the Product & Marketing budget. Rivkin Securities now counts with a fast and efficient IT area granting continuous growth and quick problem solving• Designed, developed and launched a subscription based blog, which allowed the company to achieve its first 100% online sale in its 22 years of existence. Since rollout in November 2019, blog sales have represented more than AU$ 300.000 and subscribers database incremented 150%• Incorporated the User Experience vision to the company. The blog’s inception was done following the best UX practices and activities, which led to developing a solution with a user-centered philosophy• Reduced more than 50% of server expenses by migrating solutions into more cost-effective, license-free providers and decommissioning legacy servers
