About Ignacio Ramos
I am interested in everything EM and RF. My research work spans from designing electrically small antennas at HF to monolithically integrated circuits at millimeterwave. My PhD focused on the implementation of high frequency Microwave techniques, normally used in the design of Microwave power amplifiers and Microwave rectifiers, to the design and development of power converters with the ultimate goal of achieving a integrated power supply on a chip. One of the ways I'm trying to achieve this, is by investigating the feasibility of GaN resonant distributed Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) DC-DC converters without the need of any lumped elements.
