As MEE at ASML, I am the bridge between Development & Engineering (D&E) and Operations. During this assessment, I had to bring Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to the shop floor of Vibram's production plant at Albizzate. Proactively analyzing possible improvement areas and implementing the best known practices regarding this methodology.For this project I followed the DMAIC methodology.-Decision on how to improve the efficiency of one of the production lines.-Decision on what data to be gathered in order to asses the best possible solution.-Design and implementation of a scalable and standardized system to correctly measure OEE in one of the production lines.-In continuous contact with a wide variety of stakeholders (maintenance, quality and production departments, and operators of the line) who I had to convince of my ideas.Vibram is the world leader in the production and sale of high performance rubber outsoles in the markets of sport, leisure, industrial, orthopedic and repair.
