I'm pursuing a biomedical engineering degree in order to better tackle the neural engineering problem associated with debilitating diseases. My exposure to this stems from my neuroprosthetics coursework, design and construction of a single channel cochlear implant, and data analysis. I'm fascinated by the puzzling circuitry that debilitating diseases present and I'm motivated by its impact on those around me. I'm seeking opportunities that would allow me to further develop understanding of how to better understand, diagnose, and treat debilitating diseases. In addition I'm also minoring in economics which I hope to utilize also in the healthcare industry. Economics is something that really changed how I approach problems and situations, much like an "engineers perspective," the economic way of thinking is its own toolbox of goodies that I want to share with everyone!
