About Ignacio Marin
Technical Lead at TSOFT Spain, trying to expand the services by TSOFT LatAm across Spain, with Europe in the horizon. Also founder & CEO at UbiqWare (http://ubiqware.net), a start-up focused on improving the way in which companies manage the software development lifecycle in a holistic way, mainly using DevOps and its "extensions" (BizDevOps, SecDevOps, DevOps+ITSM, etc.), now part of the TSOFT Group.After a 15-year background in R&D, I moved in March 2013 towards business. Following a brief period as an independent software consultant and Chief Solutions Architect at ADN Mobile Solutions (which also implied the adoption of Jira, Confluence and continuous integration and deployment), I co-founded UbiqWare. In January 2021, I became the sole owner of the company. In September 2021, UbiqWare joined the TSOFT Group.Our services include improvements at all the phases of the DevOps lifecycle: plan (based on agile approaches using Jira, Portfolio, Confluence or GitLab), code (workflows based on Git Flow or similar approaches, analysing code quality using SonarQube), build (implementing continuous integration, delivery and deployment cycles based on Jenkins and other CI/CD cloud services), test (applying all type of tests, automating as much as possible), release (applying the versioning scheme defined at the plan phase and registering at Nexus or Artifactory), deploy (automating the deployment to various environments -development, preproduction, production-, supporting the several software execution/operation environments possible -web servers, application servers, operating systems-), operate (on public cloud providers -AWS and Azure- and containers), and monitor (analyzing all feedback generated by all tools and providers and by the logs generated by the software operated, for later feedback for the plan phase).Software analysis and design, architecture, testing and implementation is part of the services provided in the plan and code phases of the DevOps cycle, preparing software for the wide range of client devices, users, and infrastructures out there.Experience in building software development teams from scratch based on software management standards, using coaching skills.
