Working in the maintenance department of Plastic Omnium in Zaragoza.In this company, we do bumpers for differents car brands.In Zaragoza we work for PSA, doing the rear and front bumper of the CITROEN C3 AIRCROSS, and the rear bumper of the new OPEL CORSA.The main tasks that I do in my job are:• Maintenance management. We have twenty machines, and it is necessary having a control and supervision of all. We have a planning of the preventive actions that the maintenance workers have to do each week. As well, they have to do work order when they do a preventive or corrective action. We can control and see what they have done, and having a bigger control and information about the machines. We can obtain indicators about each one, evaluate the failures and try to reduce the corrective actions.• Controlling of the spare parts warehouse. When we use some spare part, we update the data base in which we control the stock of these. If there is no more stock of something, we buy news. We use SAP for the control of the warehouse.• Purchase department. Other task that I usually do, is buying the spare parts and consumables that we need.I have learned some skills in this job:- Learning about the automotive industry.- Teamwork.- Speaking ability with suppliers and other departments.- Technical knowledge for doing my job.
