I am the General Manager at AbbVie in the Netherlands, where I also serve on the Management Board of the Dutch trade association for pharmaceutical products, VIG. From a young age, I aspired to become a doctor to help those around me, which led me to earn my medical degree and specialize in Neurology in my home country, Spain. To complement my medical expertise with business acumen, I pursued an MBA at IE Business School some years later.To broaden my international experience, I spent five years in Chicago working in AbbVie's global marketing organization, where I led the Specialty products division, encompassing Neuroscience, Virology, and Eye Care. On a personal note, I am a devoted husband and proud father of three extraordinary children. Our family has thrived beyond borders, and we've grown into global citizens.My personal and professional goal is to make a positive impact wherever I go and in everything I do, striving to leave the world a better place than I found it.
