I have been working as Gastroenterolgy Consultant at Althaia Xarxa Assistencial Universitària de Manresa since 2011, and as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitat de Vic-Universitat Central de Catalunya since 2019.I obtained the PhD under Dr Xavier Calvet supervision and followed the post-doctorate period under Dr Maria Pellisé mentorship. I learned optical diagnosis of diminutive colorectal polyps in VA Palo Alto Health Care System, CA (USA) with Dr Tonya Kaltenbach, and the invasive pattern with magnification at the National Cancer Center, Tokyo (Japan) under Dr Taku Sakamoto supervision. In 2021 I did a training stay on advanced endoscopic techniques at the Endoscopy Unit of the King’s College Hospital, London (UK), under Dr Bu Hayee and Dr Amyn Haji supervision.In 2019 I became the Scientific Director of AEG-REDCap, an online research platform that allows the design, development and management of eCRF for data collection in multicentre studies. More than 1,600 researchers use this platform in 100 hosted projects. Between 2019 and 2022, I collaborated to the European Registry on H. pylori Management as Scientific Director. During this period, more than 6,000 patients were enrolled every year, and more than 50,000 patients from 29 countries were included (www.hpeureg.com).My research lines are focused on advanced endoscopic imaging and therapeutics of gastrointestinal lesions, and the management of the Helicobacter Pylori infection.
