At Digital Origami, we develop and operate a versatile portfolio of in-house Software as a Service (SaaS) products, catering to various industries such as e-commerce and RPA and artificial intelligence.

Taking the engineering at Railsbank through the growth journey, starting with a couple co-located dev teams and growing to a global development ecosystem, currently 150+ people strong. Working closely with the teams to make sure they have the autonomy needed to work efficiently and make an impact. Also staying hands-on when it comes to shaping up the tech. platform itself, whether it’s strategic - building and advocating the long-term technology vision, or tactical - being a voice in how the architecture evolves to support the business and engineering growth.

Joined Railsbank among it’s first in-house engineers. Took over the MVP from the outsourcing company that built it and started shaping it up for future growth. At the same time building-up the first engineering centre in Lithuania.

Working on company-wide technological challenges. Responsibilities ranging from aligning on an action plan, to seeing through the implementation across multiple teams.

Leading a plaftorm team, powering Adform's Ad Campaign Management solution. Working on a transition from a UI-driven product to an API-First approach, both advocating the new mindset internally and helping customers succeed in their programmatic journey.Making sure the platform can support both the company growth and multiple roadmaps of its consumers.

Working on a digital advertising platform with the main focus on programmatic video ads.Building an auto-scaling video ad toolbox with C#, ReactJS and Node.js. Implementing video specific features in the real-time bidding platform to improve video ad delivery.

Teaching a Computer Networks course at the faculty of Mathematics and Informatics.

Responsibility for the application development team that is a part of a business intelligence department. Design and implementation of internal applications ranging from master data management to analytics and monitoring solutions:* web application development using ASP.NET MVC, KnockoutJS;* data visualization using HighCharts, Telerik components and d3.js;* working with data stored in SQL (MS SQL) and NOSQL (MongoDB) storages, using MS BI stack and REST APIs for integration.Support and maintenance of legacy WPF and Silverlight applications built upon MS SQL database and using WCF communication.

Development of a real-time order management (Android) application for taxi drivers and its integration with an existing infrastructure that includes order booking from a dedicated website or via SMS, integration with external dispatch centers and dynamic order distribution based on drivers location.Application used RabbitMQ for communication with the server via Protobuf serialized messages. Other integrations included OpenStreetMaps, third party payment systems (via REST APIs) and Crashlytics for crash reporting.

Support and development of ERP solutions for the public sector in Lithuania. Specialization in budget analysis and planning, receivables and payables, fixed assets and inventory management modules.
