About Ignatia Bintang

International Trade | International Economics | Monetary Economics | M.Sc in Economics | B.Sc in MathematicsAs an Assistant Professor and the Acting Head of the Development Economics Laboratory at Universitas Siliwangi, I am passionate about fostering economic development through research, teaching, and community service. With a strong foundation in Mathematics (B.Sc., Universitas Gadjah Mada) and a Master’s degree in Economics (M.Sc., Universitas Gadjah Mada), I bring a multidisciplinary approach to the field of Development Economics.I have been a lecturer since 2020, focusing on International Economics, International Trade, and Monetary Economics. I am also actively involved in various research projects, such as examining the dynamics of comparative advantage in ASEAN and investigating monetary freedom's impact on economic growth. Additionally, my experience includes contributing to community development by establishing cooperatives in local villages.My professional memberships include the Indonesian Economists Association (ISEI), and I hold a Certified Strategic Business Analyst (CSBA) certification from the American Academy of Financial Management. With a diverse background in academia, research, and community engagement, I aim to inspire the next generation of economists to drive sustainable development and economic progress.
