About Igor Biscontin

I have an extensive experience as a manager in international project-based companies, from construction to infrastructure, from shipbuilding to industrial automation.I worked 14 years within the Somec Group, where I developed strong strategic skills in managing complex projects and a deep understanding of business dynamics. Then I took on the role of General Manager of a company owned by a Dutch private equity fund, where I managed commercial, operational and financial aspects. Experience in different roles and sectors and the continuous learning of new skills have enabled me to develop the ability of connecting the dots, understanding and analyzing what is happening in the company and externally. This aptitude for overview, the capacity for abstraction and the knowledge of organizations are my reference for understanding what happen and for making the most appropriate decisions for the moment and the context.I have contributed to the growth of a large industrial group and managed a small company, owned by a multinational, assimilating the differences between these types of companies and understanding how best to manage them. Over the years, I have developed a remarkable understanding of how to approach and manage the markets I have worked in, both European and extra-EU, in a profitable way, recognizing their peculiarities.
