After years of experience in sales and customer service I have decided to move onto more technical sciences that I had some background in. I also grew up with two uncles who both had patents in mechanical and pneumatic engineering. My dream was to build a hempcrete home but in my country there were no machines for processing left so I had to do it from scratch. As fortune favors the brave, a mechanical engineer and I constructed a very efficient machine for hemp hurd cleaning and separating into different fractions that serve different applications e.g. building. This project has generated a lot of heat as it was liked by the industries top people. It is very versatile and can be a stand alone or attached to already existing decorticating line. The idea is to make mid range decortication lines that will both add value to the farmers or farmers unions and be affordable as well. Along with myself other enthusiasts and engineers that are building or planning these lines advocate more of these mid range size and capacity up to 500 kg per hour strategically positioned within one country or region as opposed to large multi million dollar facilities where everyone would have to ship their raw material to, thus increasing the final cost with transportation + polluting more. Instead these lines would be positioned in order to process material within no more then 10 to 50 km radius. I would like this sooner then later as hempcrete can and will change the paradigm of building thus significantly decreasing CO2 emissions and a necessity for construction/building material leftover landfills. The idea is to get the campaign "Grow your own home" by 2020.
