- Participation in multidisciplinary RD&I projects (research, development and innovation) on different AACE 1-3 scales, with different companies and nationalities; - Oil and Gas Pilot Plants Development and Planning experiments; - Project Prospecting and Budgeting;- Technical Reports Elaboration; - Experience in elaborating technical documents such as operational and commissioning procedures, operation manuals and test plans for Pilot Plants;- Process Safety: APR (PRR), HAZOP, LOPA;- Responsible for the development of phenomenological model for CO2 permeation and separation in microporous membrane;- Participation in projects related to leak, performance and endurance tests on chemical injection valves;- Participation in projects related to erosion and performance tests on gas lift valves; - Participation in projects related to the development of natural gas processing unit, appling different technologies such as adsorption and membrane separation;- Participation in the development of test fluids capable of simulating the physicochemical properties of oil in reservoir conditions; - Participation in projects related to the development of a Direct Air Capture pilot plant integrated with a well for geological storage via in-situ mineralization; - Responsible for advising undergraduate students on the following topics: - Predicting the Minimum Miscibility Pressure for CO2; - Development of Synthesis of water-in-oil separation systems to reduce BSW; - Injection of CO2 in basaltic rocks for mineralization and storage.

Modeling and Computational Simulation of Smart Water injection in Mature Oil FieldsIn order to investigate how the most supported mechanisms in the literature, wettability alteration and fines migration, contributes to the effects of LSW in increasing the recovery factor of mature oil fields, a one-dimensional multiphase flow simulator in porous media was developed to enable the study of different mechanisms and their considerations regarding the specific variables of each mechanism. The simulator development was based on three operational modules, in which the first module is responsible for simulating the injection of high salinity water. The remaining modules were aimed at simulating LSW via models based on the mechanism of wettability alteration and fines migration, respectively.
