Passionate about lasers and optics since my teenage years, I pursued a degree in physics engineering with a focus on laser physics. During my diploma thesis, I developed a deep enthusiasm for ultra-fast laser systems, harmonic generation, and nonlinear optics, gaining valuable hands-on experience.For my PhD in nuclear physics at the Mainz Microtron at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Germany), I designed a laser system for continuous wave electron accelerators, enhancing my problem-solving skills, especially in UHV components and laser technologies.
