As a Director of Sales and Business Development at Aurelius Winery Romania, I am tasked with reaching sales goals and with expanding the company's share of the market in Romania.

As a Director of Business Development at BPM, I was tasked with representing the company and creating lasting business relationships with suppliers and clients both within and outside the country. In my capacity, I have identified and managed the acquisition of raw materials, analyzed the market and outlined the business goals.

During my tenure as the Director of S.A. Metalferos, the company’s profit margin overtook thepreviously stated financial goals by 900%, measured against the plan for 2021. The goals achieved inspite of the global Covid pandemic (and ensuing economic crisis), and notwithstanding the challengesborne out of the lifting of state monopoly on the ferrous market in Moldova.

Upon leaving Mechel Group in 2016, I have remained in Romania, whereby I worked in various capacityfor several commercial enterprises. My duties included:• Obtaining the documents required to set up and operate a company (for example, a Tax IdentificationNumber).• Ensuring the compliance with VAT regulations.• Obtaining the documents required to import and export goods in the wider EU market.• Managing the HR department.• Finding new markets.

Between 2015 and 2016, I have worked as a consultant for Mechel Service Global Group, a sistercompany of the larger Mechel Group comprising its assets in several countries (Netherlands, Italy,France, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, Czech Republic). My tasks included:• Supervising and auditing twelve steel warehouses, including the inventory, auditing and riskassessment.• Studying and identifying new markets for the company’s products.• Managing the company’s estates based in the Hague, the Netherlands.• Managed the liquidation of "Mechel Service Global Group" subsidiaries, with a view to minimizinglosses and expenses.

As head of security at Mechel Romania, I was tasked with:• Monitoring thirteen warehouses of finished steel products in Romania, belonging to Mechel ServiceGlobal Group.• Assessing and countering financial and physical threats to the company’s assets.• Assessing solvency and coordinating debt collection.

I have joined Mechel Romania in 2012, as a Chief Security Officer of its Eastern European MetallurgicalDivision.My tasks included:• Safeguarding the corporate, financial and physical security of five metallurgical plants.• Managing and storing the company’s sensitive data.• Conducting audits and addressing cyber, financial and physical threats to the company’s assets.

Upon graduation, I have joined the Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs as a junior police officer. In all,I have spent fifteen years at the institution, accruing senior roles and managerial experiences. Over theyear, my tasks included:• Employing the latest forensic techniques.• Combating corruption and abuses of power.• Combating human and illegal drug trafficking.• Enforcing the rules regulating the production of pharmaceutical drugs.• Managing public order at the district level.I have left the institution in 2011, with the rank of locotenent-colonel (Lieutenant Colonel- NATO OF-4).
