Hey there 👋My name is Igor and I'm really passionate about all frontend topics 👨‍💻I like inline skating, running, cycling and cooking. I have a wide range of interests and I like to study nutrition, physiology, health, investing, and personal development. I also like to watch American football 🏈 (damn, why does the day have only 24 hours?)I don't take myself too seriously and don't really feel like an adult even in my mid-30s. And yes, I use a lot of smileys 😂Programming is my passion and I put as much of my time there as I can. What's better than just doing what you enjoy the most and getting paid for it on top? Can you even call that work? 🤔I have a dual degree in Business IT and have worked with a wide range of topics so far:- Backend with Java- ETL & scripting with Python- Data analysis with Python (pandas)- Business intelligence with Power BI- Business process management with Camunda- etc. etc.Three years ago I stumbled upon frontend development and immediately fell in love with it. 🥰 I taught myself the necessary knowledge and understanding and was able to land a job. Frontend has become very huge and complex. That's why I try to focus on the topics I enjoy the most. I'm working exclusively with React and I hardly had to use vanilla Javascript so far 😅Within the frontend universe, I pretty quickly discovered component-driven development (CDD) and also fell in love with it. I have internalized this paradigm and now work with it everywhere - on my main work, private projects, and side hustles. CDD is a perfect fit for me because I'm analytical, neat, and a perfectionist 🤪I'm drifting more and more towards UX/UI as time goes on. I have developed backoffice tools for Bonprix for over 1 year. The vast majority of that was UI and reusable components. As if by fate I also got the chance to work on the new design system in June. Now, design system and its technical equivalent in the form of a component library is my absolute favorite topic 🔥⏩ I don't want to sell you anything at all! I just think that this topic is way too underrepresented and deserves much more attention ✊ At the same time, I hardly find communities and like-minded people.
