I have been working in the industrial sector for 6 years, currently in the food industry sector. I had the opportunity to enter a new job market due to the skills acquired during my career. Today, as Continuous Improvement Manager, I have the opportunity to put into practice all the theoretical knowledge acquired through my education, along with my soft skills, which were crucial in adapting to a new culture, understanding the differences in interpersonal relationships.Looking back, today I am proud of my journey and how much I have developed in recent years. I worked as a private tutor, coordinated social inclusion projects, activities that helped me develop my communication skills, making them adaptable to different audiences. The need to impart knowledge to students and to coordinate a group of people helped me develop the ability to engage the team in projects and ideas. Working at a summer camp in the United States, I practiced the skills of leadership and motivation. In this exchange program, I was recognized by winning the 'Counselor of the Week' award, given to only 5 out of 19 employees during the summer.As a supervisor, leading a group of 17 people, I was able to put these soft skills into practice. Then I began to develop my hard skills. I completed my degree in Chemical Engineering and then started studying for an MBA for New Managers, where I had a deeper understanding of important subjects such as the PDCA Cycle, Agile Methodologies, and business management concepts. After obtaining the Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma, I obtained the position of Continuous Improvement Manager, where I have the opportunity to put my knowledge into practice and learn even more.
