I'm Igor, a software developer with a journey that began in 2016. Holding a degree as an Informatics Technician from IFAL and currently pursuing a degree in Control and Automation Engineering at UFPE, I am dedicated to advancing my skills and knowledge in the tech realm.My expertise in back-end development encompasses Java and Python, with focus on REST APIs. In the realm of databases, I have experience with PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient data management. On the web front-end, I work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create user interfaces. Additionally, I am proficient in embedded development with C, with domain knowledge about microcontrollers, automation and control systems, adding a layer of versatility to my skill set.In every software stack, my goal is to apply fundamental concepts such as automated testing, hexagonal architecture, comprehensive documentation, clean code, and adherence to SOLID principles. By incorporating these practices, I strive to ensure that the software I develop is not only functional but also exhibits qualities of readability, maintainability, extensibility, and scalability.Throughout my journey, I have contributed to different types of projects, with focus on healthcare software during my activities at UFPE. Within the research group that I participated, I co-founded the Add Health startup, that is a startup about innovative engineering solutions for healthcare. This experience has deepened my understanding of software development, reinforcing my commitment to creating innovative solutions.
