With the main objetive of creating a sector responsible for all engineering activities at the company, the Industrial Engineering arose from the combination of Tool Engineering and Process Engineering.Thereby, the main responsibilities taken by the Industrial Engineering Supervisor include maintenance and development of injection molds, leading the team to keep and better the performance of existent molds and managing the team and activities of injection molds development. Furthermore, responsible for process engineering, leading the team to define the best way of manufacturing and improving existent processes.Activities performed:• Supervising actions developed for reducing injection cycle time• Management of injection molds development for plastic parts from the bed of SCANIA truck• Management of preventive and corretive maintenance of molds• Daily meeting with the manager of each area and the Operations Director to alignment of activities in progress and priorities• Analysis of problems in the assembly line of seats at customer• People ManagementTraining and Courses in Company:• The Eight Disciplines Methodology (8D)• Leadership and Coaching• English course

Duties included: Development of injection molds design, plastic parts design, technical drawings, building Bill of Material (BOM), mathematic validation, meeting with customers, development of standard components library and presentations.

The internship was turned into a full-time job, keeping this way the activities at GW Ferramentaria.Duties included: developing technical drawings, Bill of Material (BOM), plastic parts design and modeling modifications.
