• Broad scope of responsibilities in Civil and Structural design on multiple, concurrent, small capital projects (from small platform installations to major turnarounds projects to new facility construction).• Foundation design, structural steelwork design, building layouts and plot plans.• Liaise with other Discipline Designers, Discipline Engineers and Project Engineers to produce quality designs.• Has familiarity with Chevron’s and TCO’s Safety-in-Design (SID) design guidelines.• Fully conversant with AutoCAD. Possess a working knowledge of Microstation.• The use and understanding of the document management system Documentum.• Fully conversant with Micro-soft windows and a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and all other Window packages.• Work well within a group and team comprising of varying nationalities.• Provide support and advice to external engineering contractors.• Project drawings manipulation (creation, modification, project as-builts to TCO master drawings, promotion, etc.);• Preparation of as-built documentation for MOC (Management of Change) closure;• Drawings modification as per project engineers’ mark-ups;• Maintaining and managing key drawings (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, Process Flow Diagram, Plot Plan, Hazardous Area Classification, Key Single Line Diagram, Cause and Effect Matrix Diagram, Equipment Layout, DCS System Architecture, Marshalling Panel Termination Diagram, Field Map, Overall Block Diagram)• Monitoring of project cycle;• Developing list of active projects and utilization of Documentum for project drawings search;• Checking the status of project drawings (as-built or cancelled);• Developing PSI drawings tracking system (making sure that any active PSI drawing is signed and released);• Advising project engineers & designers of other concurrent projects;• Supporting IMC and project DCCs on queries related to PSI and project drawings.
