Led the design and scaling of Banxa’s anti-fraud and performance capabilities, enabling growth in high-risk markets while saving over $1M annually in chargeback losses. I recruited and managed a team of 25, deployed advanced fraud detection systems like Chainalysis and SIFT, and developed bespoke tools to address vendor gaps. A key achievement was designing and scaling an anti-fraud capability when we were processing over $1B annually, reducing fraud by 300% at peak and unlocking growth in higher-risk verticals. Also delivering an end-to-end conversion and performance analytics suite, which optimised decision-making across the organisation.
