I led the daily SEO & SEM operations at the #1 ranking SEO & web design company in the greater Los Angeles area.• Manage and train all cross-functional teams, including copy, outreach specialists, SEO technicians, PPC technicians, web developers, reporting analysts, and digital producers.• Develop, document, and update best on-page and off-page optimization practices based on most current industry developments (including CRO & UX improvements through multivariate testing).• Spearhead on-going R&D to discover and implement new scalable SEO strategies.• Liaise with Google AdWords' agency relations team to learn upcoming beta features, understand SEM performance trends, and resolve any existing campaign-related issues.• Participate in client and/or prospect meetings to provide executive-level insights for existing or upcoming campaigns.• Understand every client’s business model, market position, and desired goals in order to develop appropriate campaigns.• Navigate clients through intricate project requirements, especially in relation to technical SEO.• Perform mission-critical tasks, including but not limited to: initial keyword research, technical site analysis, historical data analysis, identification of immediate opportunities as well as potential long-term concerns.• Analyze and improve organizational and operational processes, including reviewing project management and other collaboration tools.• Provide leadership and support in order to maintain healthy morale for 100+ team members working in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
