In my role as Head of Legal and Compliance at Enseada in Rio de Janeiro, I successfully guided the CEO through a challenging business pivot (from shipbuilding to port logistics), by securing necessary licenses for new business operations, and negotiating contracts with new clients. Additionally, I led the judicial reorganization process resulting in the restructuring of $1 billion in debt. My legal strategies and compliance efforts were crucial in navigating industry challenges and ensuring the company's success.Also:• Provided legal advice on the negotiations of the set of EPC Contracts and subcontracts for the implementation of an industrial plant worth US$1B and on the renegotiations of the EPC Contracts for the construction of offshore drilling rig units worth US$800M.• Responsible for all litigation affairs of the company.
