Dr. Igor Gembula studied at Wirtschaftsuniversität in Vienna, Austria and at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University in Bratislava.Igor is COO of ObviousFuture, which he co-founded in 2022. ObviousFuture specializes in leveraging machine learning to understand audiovisual context, which can work fully onpremise called Resident AI. Unlike typical object tagging AI, Resident AI understands the audiovisual environment and identifies not only objects and meanings, but also emotions, philosophies, and the broader context of the world. This innovative technology is currently being used in the broadcast post-production industry through software called CaraOne. Future plans include expanding the application of this technology to health and medicine, surveillance, defence, industry and other areas. ObviousFuture's solution is built on proprietary models it has been building for 10 years and operates independently without dependency on external APIs.Igor's core expertise is guiding early-stage startups into fully-functional companies, focusing on process development, financial management, legal, human resources, and more.In 2018, Igor joined Webswing Ltd as Managing Partner, CFO and COO and transformed the company from a post startup to a leading provider for Java Swing application migration to web browsers. He implemented sales and finance processes, helping the company achieve a financial breakthrough in 2020. Today, Webswing serves clients around the world, with revenue and earnings expected to grow 50% and 70% annually between 2019 and 2024, respectively.Previously, Igor co-founded CEEOR in 2006 and led it to a successful exit. From 2017-2018, Igor served as CEO of Kantar Health CEE (CEEOR was part of Kantar Health from 2016-2018) and provided legal representation in Central and Eastern Europe. His European project experience includes the implementation of customer-focused processes in the UK, France, Italy, Spain, CEE and others.
