In the course of my career in IT, I held different roles but always had a special regard for service management. I have often been made aware that even though it may be beneficial to have a new system with advanced capabilities, it is how people use that technology that really makes a difference. I have spent most of my days in IT teaching people and businesses about the importance of processes and good practices.On the other hand, I have been a private pilot and a lifelong aviation enthusiast. I have quickly become fascinated by the uptake and capabilities of unmanned aircraft (aka drones) and the potential improvements they can bring to countless areas of human activity. Also, unmanned aircraft seem to fit naturally between the aviation and IT industries. They are aircraft, regulated by aviation authorities, however, at their core technology and with so many users they are much closer to the IT world. This duality and the new set of challenges that they have introduced made me decide to take the next step in my career.By merging the experiences from enterprise IT service management and aviation, I now offer comprehensive and targeted services to facilitate the adoption of best practices in drone operations, avoid mistakes and accelerate success.
