As an Environmental Education Officer, I am passionate about inspiring and empowering communities to engage in sustainable practices and connect with nature. My role involves developing and delivering a range of educational programs that highlight the importance of biodiversity, conservation, and environmental stewardship.I collaborate closely with schools, local organisations and stakeholders to create meaningful learning experiences tailored to various age groups and curriculum outcomes. From designing interactive workshops and nature-based activities to leading eco-events such as community clean-ups and tree-planting days, I am dedicated to fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and action.With a strong background working across council, state government, non-profits, and industry, I bring a well-rounded perspective and practical knowledge to every initiative. My volunteer work with groups like the Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation and the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) deepens my commitment to wildlife protection and sustainable living.I pride myself on my ability to communicate complex environmental concepts in an engaging and relatable way, ensuring that participants not only learn but feel inspired to make a positive impact.
