When I first left my undergraduate program in 2015, I never expected to be where I am now. Back then, I had just finished my Student Teaching, where I taught High School History. I had an internship with The Walt Disney Company that I would participate in for the summer and fall, but expected to leave shortly after. What I found was a love for entertaining and creating, and that is why I stayed with The Walt Disney Company as long as I have. Between being a parade performer and leading my department as their lead trainer, I constantly found new ways to elevate my creativity. Yet, I knew that I needed more in order to feed my intense love of personal growth and learning. When I joined Tesla Motors, I made a realization that I would not have made if I had stayed only at Disney, which is that I love to be analytical as much as I love being creative. Tesla has taught me what it's like to belong to a technology focused company, and how rewarding working at these types of companies can be. That is why I have decided to combine my two passions, being creative and being analytical, into a new path for myself. As an aspiring Software Developer, I hope to be able to create useful tools and technologies for all, while being able to fix concerns that I discover along the way. By learning programming languages and concepts, I have been able to join a community that is constantly trying to learn. If you feel I would be a good fit as a Software Developer on your team, feel free to reach out to me, as I would love to connect!
