HomeTech was brought in for a 1 year project in 2006 to refurbish the "Cool Waves" building on International Drive in Orlando FL. Project was to turn 23,000 sq. ft. of surf shop into international realestate USA headquarters...MacAnthony Overseas Properties.Operated as both Project Mananger and Supervisor; consultant to builder (on technology) and future tenants (customer) in all aspects of IT, Audio/Video and design of interior. With Yani Rodrigeuz (customers liason), came up with company colors for interior and exterior of building.Installed over $100,000 worth (valued) of AV equipment, utilizing B&K Components and Samsung Plasma and LCD displays. Peerless articulating mounts were used in all meeting/board rooms. Over 32,000 feet of Commscope Ultra Media CAT6 cable was installed for both IT and distributed video requirements.Designed showcased reception area seen upon entering the building. Designed and commisioned lighted LED logo which "faces from" the reception area.

Significant Dish Network Retailer...top 10 in the Southeastern area of the US. Meticulous installations resulted in very low service calls. Both commercial and residential installations. Bought out in 2003 by Tim O'Connor and name changed to HomeTech.

Served computer industry in all business sectors - residential, commercial, education & commercial; worked with schools, rest homes, Hoover Company, Timken, Hannon Electric & Diebold to name a few. EE was 3rd company in the world to install Road Runner (Time Warner) in Akron Ohio's test bed. Worked with Excalibur Group in CT to enhance the RR service and installation. #1 company due to stream lined procedures creating near perfect install record for all early versions of Windows (3.0, 3.1, ME, NT, & 98). EE was instrumental in creating and training Warner CSR's questionnaire to ask customers before installation. Member of Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and active in Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival activities; donated time and support to Canton Disability Center for children and young adults.Instrumental in computer support for Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville Alabama; EE was able to track illusory parts to fulfill shuttle’s computer support teams.

IBM trained technician for all PS/2 systems for all business sectors; residential, commercial, government and education. Trained as an IBM certfied Education Specialist for grades K-12. Trained in HP products, Epson products and Toshiba products. Ranked top scores (100 out of 100) on all IBM testing.Discovered and became proficient in IBM multimedia platforms of the day utilizing state of the art (for the 90's) non-linear video presentation design.

Unique company brought together ALL restaurants in our community (whether fast food or sit-down establishments) to serve the community in a new and unique way; a reader’s digest booklet was created given freely to the community showing each restaurant partners complete menu. Calling DD, customers could order any item from any number of restaurants and have it delivered to them for a small fee. Drivers were radio dispatched from a central location. Concept was sound and business grew...

Turned a small video store in the small town of Havelock N.C., with 7 other stores as competition (big in porn with 99 rentals), into the #1 store. It became a family hub with the on base Marines (Cherry Point Air Station) engendering "family" movies, no porn and special customer service not shown to this day in that industry. Took the store from 200 titles and 600 customers to 1700 titles and 3800 customers in 2 ½ years with no additional investment income. Won top marketing campaign in chain (of 1500 stores) twice and most new customers in a given month once (366 in one weekend marketing promotion). While pioneering new hours, we ultimately changed the store hours in a "bible belt" community (i.e. 9-5 Monday through Saturday) into a competitive, seven day a week 9-9 service to the community at large of which they were very thankful.Adventureland Video charged $3.00 a movie. We were the precursor to the later Block Buster Video.

CPL in the USMC; computer operations in Okinawa Japan for two years and then at Cherry Point Air Station for one and a half years. Trained at Quanitco Virginia, 2nd in class. Bootcamp at MCRD Paris Island in 1981 (July 27th-October 19th). Received numerious citations, awards and a meritorious mast. Offered OCS. Honorable Discharge. Only Marine promoted to NCO (CPL) in Battalion without attending NCO school. "Corporal O'Connor shows those habits, ethics, bearing, merit, integrity and principles of conduct born within him that we teach to our NCO's in our schools."Worked for the USO at Camp Hansen and was a tour guide to both Marines and mainland Japanese for all tourists site on island.Created video for FEN. Filmed and worked with Happy Days Crew during USO visit (Henry Winkler, Marion Ross, Cathy Silvers).
