As General Manger my duties include:Overseeing all aspects of the operational side of the business including the function room, restaurant, brasserie and public barTraining and staff rotas for all 4 sections including a team of 40.Negotiating with different suppliers to maintain a high GP.Bringing in ways to improve an already high standard of service.managing a huge volume of wine sales and editing and updating the wine list for all sections of the businessUsing a hands on approach to management in every area of the business including function meals of anything up to 220 covers and the running of the fine dining areas of the business.Organising and managing outside caterings for up to 500 at local larger locations.Advertising the business through social media and helping the business grow.Recruitment of all FOH staff including the rest of the management team. Also using knowledge of employment law to carry out rightful dismissals.Being a face of the business and dealing with every aspect of customer service. From maintaining the standards that our regulars receive as well as impressing new clientele.
